Ernest Percival Rhys (17 Jul 1859 – 25 May 1946) was an English writer from Wales. His most notable work is Everyman’s Library – a collection of classics gathered and edited by him. Also he authored numerous essays, short stories, plays, poems and novels. Before writing career Rhys was working in coal industry. Afterwards he edited Camelot Series of reprints and translations and was one of the founding members of the Rhymer’s Club.
