Meet Colton Wade, FMX rider...
I’m just a small town guy who caught a lucky break. Now I’m living the dream, on the brink of high-flying super-stardom. But something’s missing.
That something is Taylor.
She’s my best friend. The one who makes me want to push harder and higher. The one I fall back on when s**t gets tough. The one I’d give it all up for.
I’d do anything to protect her. To make her dreams come true too.
But a single night changes everything.
And now the one she needs protection from...is me.

One of the best books I've read in a very very very long time!! Yay!! Can't wait for the next one! Can you say cliff hanger much!!??
I was gifted this book for an honest review. I never read this author before. I'm glad I did now. Molly is a wonderful writer. Her words flow effortlessly. I read this is one day I was so intrigued with the story. It's about a FMX motor cross racer, Colton, and his long-time best friend Taylor. They are as close as two people can be who don't get to see each other often. They talk and text everyday. On a visit home, Colton wins a bet that Taylor has to come out to Vegas to watch him in one of his circuit rides. Things are going really good between them until things go too far. Colton has a modeling contract that wants him to pretend to date an ex of his and this situation comes between him and his best friend. They both realize they want each other, but that may not be enough. The ending was killer good! Come on book 2!
Holy cow, this ended on a nail biting cliffhanger and the 2nd book doesn't come out until May. You've got best friends that grew up together that both have felt something more but never acknowledged until they can't deny it anymore. Their interactions as they start to realize their feelings was actually very cute. Colton was adorable with his behavior towards Taylor. But then you got Brea, the girl who wants Colton for herself and will stop at nothing to keep him close. The last half of the book is pretty angsty with the a nail biting ending. This is one of my favorite reads but I admit I'm nervous for the conclusion. It might get worse before it gets better. It's gonna be hard waiting two months for the next book!
ARC received via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
