Astonishing...
It is very difficult to describe the scale of the embrace of this book and its sister volume on the South Island. It is an utterly commodious compendium - the reader and future traveller simply has to decide how to set about eliminating what they won’t have time for - not an easy task given the stunning array of images presented. Indispensable in the way of no other guide I have ever seen.
Remarkable Photography
It has always been a dream of mine to visit the Islands of New Zealand only enhanced by Peter Jackson's images in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Now I can throughly research every nook and cranny through the equally talented lens of Steven Bicknell who is not only a master of aerial photography but also stunning landscapes .
