This was a nice quick read. The timelessness was an interesting twist in this story. Very mysterious and a little out of this world.
I have read other books by Eileen Dreyer and each one has its own unique and captivating storyline. This one was so intriguing, suspenseful and a little mind boggling. There were twists and turns that kept you turning the pages to see what would happen next. I loved it and highly recommend this book.

“If you’re lost you can look and you will find me, time after time.” Cyndi Lauper
Eileen Dreyer brings a touch off the paranormal to her romance novel, Timeless. Genevieve is newly widowed, her life a shambles of betrayal, her spirit so low she doubts she can cope. With her daughter Anne in Oregon, safe in her grandmother's (Gen's mother) care, Get retreats to a tiny private barrier island and her family's ancestral Atlantic seaboard home. The old house has her spooked, and every night she dreams its 1864, in battlefield hospital, with a wounded soldier who loves her and promises he'll never leave her. Then he dies in her arms. Waking or sleeping she lives with death and loss - until the day a man washes up, unconscious, on her remote island beach. Thus begins a spellbinding and almost dreamlike sojourn though past history, present mystery, and a potential future Gen could never have believed possible - because the man she rescues is the man from her dreams! Dreyer writing has a dizzying, surreal quality which meshes so perfectly with her subject. It's the perfect atmosphere of fear, despair, horror, hope and joy that will have readers spinning with anticipation for an ending no-one could predict, (and one I won't spoil). Just know that love is a real force - in this world and all others, long ago, now, and forever.
