Golden Man
I received this book for an honest review.
Not my favorite. But it was a good read. The characters are well developed and there is a great story line. I didn't care for the drawn out descriptive scenes. I had a hard time staying captivated.
The story is about a girl named Jenny who had recently lost her husband two years before. She is struggling to keep her husband's dream resort a float. Then in walks Blade, her brother in law. Blade has been away ten years and things are different than before. Jenny and Blade struggle with their secret love for one another. Not admitting that their feelings, scared the other doesn't feel the same. Which causes a lot of arguments, misunderstanding and grief. Blade is the town bad boy everyone gossips about. Jenny has always stood up for him and knows that he is not what the town perceives him to be. Can Blade help her to save the resort and not runaway from his feelings? Can Jenny survive heartbreak?
If you like a romance then I would try it. Like I said it is not a bad book just not the book for me.
Ok read
This was not one of my favorites. Just too much tribulations between the main characters. Not a bad read just not as good as expected. Normally I love Ms. Major's books. Ok read.
