The Prince

The Prince: The book discusses how monarchs should govern and maintain their states. The author thinks the army is the main foundation of all countries; monarchs should have their own armed forces, and should rely on violence, cruelty and immoral deeds to win. The prince should rule on principles of force, and achieve their objectives unscrupulously. He uses a metaphor of a lion and a fox as examples of cunning and force. The Prince is considered to be the "Mafia Bible".
