From USA Today Best- Selling Author comes book one in The Sweet Sin Series.
Meet the men of the rock band, Trained in Black.
"Our someday will come soon, Joslyn." Those words were the last words I heard from Roman Nixon before I walked away.
I knew our someday might come, but not the one he and I had always dreamed about.
His life headed in one direction, mine in the other. While Roman became the lead singer for the successful rock band Trained in Black, I became a ruthless attorney.
He moved on and married someone else. As I was forced to observe him and his bride on the cover of every magazine out there, I deserved to suffer because of what I had done.
What I didn't expect was a phone call that led to me becoming his new attorney.
After years apart, our opposite worlds collide. This time, we may get our someday. But first, we have to find a way to steer us in the right direction
A great start to the Sweet Sins series
We got the beginning of this story in The Once Upon A Rockstar anthology. I was excited to watch Joslyn and Roman reconnect in The Right Direction. Second chance romances are my favorite trope, and this one is also written in dual POVs, which I prefer. Joslyn and aromas meet as foster kids who fall in love as teens. Life gets in the way, and they are separated just as Joslyn discovered she is pregnant. She loses the baby in a car accident, and Roman handles it badly. She finds success as a lawyer, as Roman rises to stardom as the lead singer of a rock band. They reconnect after 12 years and their chemistry is undeniable. Roman is an alpha hero, and Joslyn is the perfect take-no-crap match for him and his world. I thoroughly enjoyed the twists and turns of their love story and look forward to more in the series as Roman’s band ages get their own stories.
I loved it!!
The Right Direction by Kathy Coopmans is a hot and sexy second chance romance. Roman and Joslyn’s story had me hooked from page one. These two had a troubled childhood that connected them where they formed a bond that they thought couldn’t be broken. They thought life was looking up for them with Roman living his rockstar dream. But, as you know Kathy Coopmans is sure to pull out all the stops with our emotions as well as the unexpected twists and turns. She did just that with this book. I loved how hard they both loved even though tragedy pulled them apart. You are sure to be reading well into the night.
