One of a kind
This is my favorite manga out of the (probably) hundreds I’ve read. There’s nothing quite like this story. I like how there’s still a bit of humor mixed in despite a supernatural/tragedy manga.
The author portrays the teenage characters quite accurately. Instead of like most manga revolving around this age group, I Want to Hold Aono-kun So Badly I Could Die shows that teenagers do, in fact, have thoughts relating to sex and how their hormones affect their actions and feelings. No exclusively fluffy and wholesome feelings here.
