BIOLOGY DOG examines the human urge and need for connection and the elaborate and complex ways–physical, emotional, spiritual–in which this need manifests itself.


In these poems, poet Sir Rawl tackles, among other things, human biology, sexuality, mind and body, and the range of action and reaction engendered by love and passion. With raw honesty and imagery both sensuous and sensual, he delves beneath the surface to explore, in particular, the intricate and often agonizing push and pull of an intimate relationship with all its pleasure, pain, and hard-won epiphanies.
