A cross stitch event is being held at the café which psychic Karis Booth owns with her sister.
All is going well.
Until Karis unknowingly stitches the word MURDER on her fabric. Realising this is a premonition, she shares her concerns with her sister and close friend. If there's going to be a murder, what can they do to prevent it? And will the victim be a member of the craft group?
Karis' only option is to consult her police contact. But it's too late. A murder is committed the next day.
Karis soon receives psychic visions about the victim and her life. Hidden messages are revealed in pictures. Secrets are uncovered. Many people had reasons to hate the victim. But which one of them killed her?

Another winner in the Psychic Cafe series
It's wonderful to see another book in the Psychic Cafe. This time Karis and Peg are teaching needlepoint in Erin's cafe. As always, the action moves along with a lot of dialog. This time some high school enemies are at Peg's craft evening to teach cross stitch. An old frenemy is back in town and soon the nastiest character ever is murdered (deservedly so!) and Seb and Karis trying to find the murderer amongst the women who attended that craft evening. The murderer is a surprise, yet makes sense in the story line. Along with Karis and Peg, I'm waiting for Erin's twins to finally be born and for Karis and Seb's relationship to develop!
This is a wonderful continuation of April Fernsby's Psychic Cafe series and I'm looking forward to more!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
