this was a very good espionage novel. It brought the reader to various countries of the world and gave him/her a glance at the potential atrocities present in the lives of secret agents.
Best Book I’ve Read in Ages
I found myself about to get on a 4 hour flight and wanted to kill the time, ended up starting the book on a Friday and finished on Sunday morning throughout my weekend getaway
I haven't sat down to read a book since God knows when, I really enjoyed it and see myself continuing the series. The plot is also amazing and I personally love the way that the author used nice descriptive words. Anyway, here is an overview.
A man named Kent, who is an CIA agent, gets a memory suppressor, making him think he is Reid Lawson, a college history teacher and a father of 2 girls. While at his desk one night, he hears a knock on the door, and considering his daughters are asleep, he answers it. A group of men ask him questions, and he denies them, causing a chase, resulting in "Reid" getting caught. He had a bag put over his head, and he was put into a van. He was beaten, then finally he passed out from the pain, waking up on a plane. He gets beat again, making him unconscious, yet again. He wakes up in a room with men, and he is hooked to a chair. He then realizes that he is hooked up to a lie detector.
He answers all of the questions truthfully, and the people walk away. Another man walks in, and inspects Reid. He finds the memory chip, then multiple people walk in after the man talks in German on a walkie-talkie. They arrive in the room with their guns drawn, and the newfound Kent in Reid comes out. He kills all three of them, and then he sets out into the town. He then goes on risky adventures around Europe, kicking butt and getting his kicked.
