The New / Contemporary Music research project called Defragmentation, started in Jan 2017 to March 2019 was concerned with transforming the new music genre and by extension their music composition, performance and festivals.
Defragmentation had four topic areas and four advisory teams focussed on: curation, technology, decolonisation, gender and diversity in the New Music context. This book came out of one of the projects in the Technology group.
