Publisher Description
The soul of a knight, the heart of a witch…
Ben O'Callahan has worked a long day. The last thing he wants is to find a couple witches and two guys who claim to be "Guardians," aka sorcerer-style cops, lying in wait for him on the parking deck of the K&A offices. But he has information they need, about a dark witch from his past who may have plans to destroy New Orleans.
Well, screw that. This is his town. Much as he'd prefer to go home to his beautiful submissive and a nice steak, a knight knows when it's time to don the armor and go fight evil. Only in this case, his lady isn't the type to wait at home. Marcie is going to fight for the city, right by his side, with the Guardians and witches who know that love is the one thing that evil can't defeat. Not if the will is strong enough.
[NOTE: Arcane Knight was originally released under the title The Problem with Witches. It is also a crossover series bonus novel, meshing the worlds of the paranormal Arcane Shot and contemporary Knights of the Board Room series.]

When the Arcane meets the Boardroom
What happens when’s when the Light and Dark Guardians have a Problem they need help with? They call a Knight of course. Joey W Hill creates a supernatural crossover of her PNR Arcane Shot series with her series The Knights of the Boardroom. Something wicked is stirring in New Orleans and Derek and Mikhael know that the only one who can help is Ben O’Callahan.
Ben’s past is shaped from this wickedness and he and his wife Marcie need to battle it to save New Orleans, his soul and more. Hill takes us through a supernatural adventure with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing about what’s coming next. I love that Miss Hill gave us this book because I feel that Ben is able to be as close to his redemption as possible, while showing the strength that Marcie gives and receives from him. The cast from The Arcane Shot series are there to provide the supernatural firepower and what ensues is a story that will last a lifetime. Ben and Marcie, Ruby and Derek, Mikhael and Raina and Ramona and Silas make this a supercharged book you won’t want to put down.
Good! Glad I took a chance…
I am not a fan of paranormal. I am a fan of Joey W. Hill. I purchased Arcane Knight because it continued the story of Ben and Marcie, two of my favorites from Joey’s Knights of the Boardroom series.
I’m surprised to say that I really enjoyed this book. Paranormal will never be my first choice, but the author’s attention to character development and the deep emotional ties of the four leads drew me in and didn’t let me go.
Ms. Hill writes with a depth not often found in the romantic/erotic and yes I guess paranormal genres. She loves her characters, and the reader does too.
