Publisher Description
What She Needs . . .
Texas in the 1880s is a wild and lawless land, where a woman fending for herself is a rare breed. Andrea Jackson is just that. A woman who went against the grain by writing bestselling novels instead of marrying and staying at home. But with her muse, and her money dried up, she’s in desperate need of a hero. And Sheriff Matthew Knight has just the right material.
Only He Can Give . . .
Matthew doesn’t know what to make of the sassy, bright-eyed, temptress who insists on following him around. He’s nobody’s hero, and he doesn’t believe in fairy tales. What he is, is a man. With a man’s needs. And there’s something about the feisty, determined, vixen, he just can’t seem to shake . . .

The Reluctant Hero
This novella is a short read BUT it really packs a punch! I got a little teary eyed at one point.
I so adored Matt (The Reluctant Hero). He always told Andrea that he was no hero. He doesn't want to be her's either. Andrea is a writer and she has lost her muse! She desperately needs a hero to come to her rescue.
Andrea is caring for her ailing mother. She discovered that her newly deceased father embezzled money from the bank where he worked to find a cure for his wife. Andrea has a strong sense of right and wrong. She will pay the bank back every cent that is owed them. She needs her muse!
Matt reluctantly agrees to have Andrea follow him around for a day. Only the one day. He does his best to get her to leave but Andrea is like a fly that landed in honey, she is stuck on him like glue!
I was entranced to my e-reader. I turned the pages as fast as I could. I was swept back in time for such a delightful ride. There is one sexy scene. It was written in such a matter that any adult shouldn't be offended as it was so glossed over.
I highly recommend this story.
Cute
Flowed well for a short story. Short and sweet .
