Second chances burn hotter

The assignment should be a fashion stylist's dream. Dane Scotland—brilliant programmer, millionaire, partner in my brother's company—is going to a big-money meeting, and he needs to look the part.

The problem? Dane doesn't want a makeover. He's grumpy and reclusive, and his wardrobe consists of two pairs of old jeans. He doesn't want me anywhere near him.

Did I mention that he's my brother's best friend? And that no one knows exactly what Dane and I got up to ten years ago?

The nerd I knew is gone—Dane ditched his glasses and bulked up. Now he's six-foot-plus of hot genius, but I can be professional. I can definitely keep my hands off him. Again.

But when he looks at me like he used to, like no one else ever has, the only thing I want is to lose control.

Dane and I gave each other our first taste of heartbreak. Are we destined for another round?

Sweet & sexy! Dane & Ava are HOT!

Fantastic is every way! A sexy hot romance, terrific characters and an entertaining storyline. I didn’t read the first book (my bad) so I didn’t have any background on the Tower VC guys, or Ava, but I didn’t need any to enjoy this story. I was pulled in from the beginning with the sibs hilarious bickering and I read it straight through! It was so worth my tired eyes all the way to the terrific ending. When Ava invaded Dane’s home to work miracles for Tower it was everything you want in a sweet, steamy romance. I fell in love with the sassy, sarcastic & vulnerable Ava right from the start and when she engaged with Dane it was heaven. Dane is such a fabulous hero as the nerdy hermit with a heart of gold. Boy, do these two have history and hot chemistry. This is my first read by this author and it was exceptional. The writing was excellent with outstanding characters and a storyline with lots of real life issues handled with care and empathy, a swoon-worthy romance, a couple you can cheer for with a few laughs thrown in. I loved it! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
