Followed by heartbreak.
That's how I'd describe my relationship with Aiden Heller, the exchange student from Australia. All the girls flock to him as if he's their shiny new toy. I'll admit, I'm drawn to him. There's something about him, perhaps it's the accent.
He's a thrill-seeker—I'm not.
He seeks attention—So do I, but only from him.
He wants to kiss me—Should I let him?
Do I trust him with my heart? —I'm not so sure.

Ugggggggh whyyyy this is now the second book I’ve ever read where I absolutely have moments and times of deep hatred for the female character. The amount of assumptions and over reactions are like the weakest part of the female mind and okay I get it but just ugh. It’s the prince disguising himself as a regular civilian kind of situation and it always pisses me off how the girls overreact. Like we’re u cheated on kidnapped tortured? No small lie get TF over it...... -.- women. Lol and hence the 4 stars cus yes this is how it always goes down one day maybe we’ll evolve to better versions of ourself tho it may take a people only living 4-10 good years apocalyptic event to ever get another chain of evolution in human female psyche...
Loved the story of Elsie and Aiden. Elsie has bounced from guy to guy and had her heart broken so many times. Aiden’s the new guy from Australia who is hit by a ton of bricks when he first meets Elsie. Scared of getting attached, they both hide behind friendship and Aiden gets caught in a terrible lie. Enjoy their story.
