This was my first read from this author and I really enjoyed it. It was cute but it did have its share of drama.

oh man! I don't know a single thing about Baseball but Benched makes me want to figure it out. I'm absolutely in love with the characterizations in this novel and the twists and turns it takes and oh man, is this *steamy*. I'm a huge lover of smut and explicit fiction and this hit all my marks. It was so hard to put it down (I literally had it in front of me at work today.... sorry boss) and the way it's written is so, so, so good. Evie feels like your secret self, like somehow you are Evangeline Cordova and you are keeping in this big mess of secrets and mystery, and it draws you in so hard it makes you ache for the deep, crashing, messy love. This is the first book I've read in a while and it really genuinely reminded me of why I love to read. Even if you don't know about baseball, Benched is an absolutely fantastic read cover to cover. One of my favorites to come out in a long while, and the promise of sexy cowboy boots and nudity definitely elevates that. *chefs kiss*
