The Life Aristotle Witnessed
I was fascinated more with the glimpses of the life Aristotle saw around him at that time around 350 BCE than his own struggles to attempt to explain the nature of good and bad philosophically. I feel as disappointed as when I finally read the bible. Aristotle tries to explain the logic behind the engineering of the world of thoughts as if the real world held no importance. Women are barely acknowledged. This is a book of a man on what the thoughts of men could be or should be. Such a subject would make a babbling fool of anyone.
