She was young.
But then there was him.
We had been best friends for years. We lived together. Rode together. Shared women. Together. And it still wasn't enough. Not for him and especially not for me.
He was mine.
I was his.
She was ours.
Meadow Rodriguez strutted into our lives and looked at us like we were all that mattered.
While I wanted to dominate her, he wanted to submit, and she wanted both.
I took control, giving her everything she needed and at the same time, grew closer with Shade. My best friend. My partner. My life. Although we were close, there was still a wedge between us.
I was terrified to give him what he needed.
Sunny was intense.
I was new.
They were in love but wouldn't admit it.
Guilt resonated on Sunny's shoulders.
The weight of Shade's feelings rested on his.
And I was the glue that would bring them together.
But little did I know, that I would end up falling in love.
With both of them.
The Next Generation Series:
First off this definitely needs to be read in order, because there were so many characters, I honestly got lost for awhile as to who was who. The storyline was intriguing and does keep you interested throughout the book. There are many twists, and it does end up on somewhat of a cliffhanger, just a small one. Plus, I will not give the ending away, but let’s just say part of the ending is devastating, but I can understand why the author did it, but still it’s heartbreaking.
I am voluntarily leaving a review for this book that I received free.
I love this story so much! The journey these characters go on together is beautiful. The story gripped me from beginning to end. J.M. Walker shows us that love truly knows no bounds when it comes to age or sexual preference.
