Publisher Description

I met Lucinda, and the rest of the strike team several years ago.   No one wanted to kill me, certainly not the guys shooting at me the Dallas parking garage.  My name is Nathan Tiberius Brooks. My friends call me NT.  Sitting here, listening to the soft hum of the air handlers, I recollect what brought me to this point in my evolution.  I have evolved.

I recall with much fondness.

I look forward with fear and excitement.

When I am looking back, it is easy to rationalize being naïve.  Okay, being stupid is a way of life for me.  When I am looking forward, there is no explaining that I stumbled into an adventure that brought me to Lucinda and the strike team.  Called the Coterie, the strike team is a warrior cast with exceptional skills and abilities.

It is my role in the Coterie to tell you about the warriors.

One famous Einstein quote: If the facts don't fit the theory, change the facts.  The Coterie learned humanity had an infantile understanding of physics.   The keyword: Had.  We learned.  Well, Corb learned, and we learned from him.  His breakthrough came from the Mayan Shaman.  Corb could see the connections in his mind. The Mayan's taught him how to understand the connections.  They taught us there is a truth that is simple in context and complex in meaning.

The old truth is: We are all connected.

Humans are joined on an ethereal level.  Humanity's ability to understand the attachment had become dormant.   Corb and the members of Coterie have re-awakened the connection.  Through the connections, humans can manipulate space-time.

The new truth is: Teleportation is possible.
