Rule #1 - Never date your boss.
Rule #2 - Under any circumstances never ever sleep with your boss.
Rule #3 - Rules were meant to be broken.
Finnick Wilder is rude and conceited. He's a jerk with a capital J who also happens to be devilishly handsome and my boss.
I despise him, but when he says jump, I ask how high.
Him dropping to one knee and proposing ranks way above how high I can jump.
His demand for a fake fiancée crosses the line between fiction and reality. Yet, it seems like fate under the mistletoe.
Christmas storyline that was intriguing and well written. Finnick is a divorce attorney and his firm handles annulments, affairs and paternity cases. He is raising his daughter Auden but his ex-wife gets to see her every other weekend, alternating holidays and birthdays. Maisy was walking down the street when she gets the job at Finnik's firm as their receptionist. She moved to Shamrock and was looking for something to do in the small town. She was a socialite under her father's thumb for years but finally broke free. Her father tried to better his company by getting her to marry the son of one of his potential investors. Maisy is fiesty and stands up to Finnick and they fall head over heels for each other. She helps him with his insane hook-up/stalker and he helps her by claiming they are together so his mother will stop trying to find her a nice guy to marry. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
