Publisher Description
I'm a banshee without a voice. But I'll do anything to save those I love. Even climb into bed with my enemy.
Vampires killed my father. Destroyed my innocence. Now the monsters are back, craving my hybrid banshee-human blood. Their very presence threatens everyone and everything I care about.
I will not let them win. And if I need to team up with the sexy vamp on my doorstep to fight back, then that's what I'll do. Even if every cell in my body screams out to stake the monster right through his cold, undead heart. Even if his blood sings to mine—lights up my body—in ways I can't explain.
This time, I will do anything to be heard. With or without my banshee cry.
A hot and steamy paranormal romance featuring sexy fae and vampires, perfect for fans of Dannika Dark, Elizabeth Briggs and Jaymin Eve.

Jen Ketemi is a writer worthy of “getting to know”
This book was found based on two keywords:
1. Free
2. Vampire Romance
Fortunately, this was one of the titles which popped up.
Yes, it was free. No! It wasn’t thirty pages long with a window towards: “To be continued”.
You have characters — a vampire cop named Luc; and, a half-fae, Aleah, who is a banshee (can sense deaths that are about to occur in the very near future).
You have story. There are rogue creatures out there in the world who are pairing up to kill innocents. Hence, the need for the vampire who is a cop. Aleah comes into it because she has felt the deaths of a young boy as well as her neighbors. Both cop and banshee want it stopped.
Aleah is nearly killed on a night where the rogue pair (a vampire and a werewolf) appear and they only have a need for two things. Her blood (duh) and her true name.
Naturally, as with most of these authors, Aleah has many half-siblings. By the end of Luc ans Aleah’s tale the story is moving onto the next sibling, Indigo. Introducing the fake warrior who will protect Indigo and, I’ve no doubt, become her lover. Cha-Ching, pay $3 for that story! Thank you very much.
Fortunately, this first story was solid and was around 180-pages long. Likewise with book two.
If nothing else, I highly recommend this first, free book to let you wet your whistle. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as much as I did. Heck, it was free, a good read and had characters and storyline worthy of an hour or so of your time.
Banshee Cry by Jen Katemi
First paranormal story I’ve read that’s mainly about a banshee. Great story with a good lead into the next book. I like the love story with the banshee and a vampire but then you have a hidden horror that goes into the next book that leaves you hanging so you just have to get the next book to find out what happens next. I like stories like that it makes the story fun to read.
Loved
I enjoyed this read with all the well developed characters and a storyline that is well written and flows easily throughout the pages.
I received a copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
