Haven Carey has given up everything to seek out the man responsible for her brother's death, but she gets a lot more than she bargained for when she comes face-to-face with the tall, dark, and delicious alpha. When her world is turned on its head, she soon discovers that nothing is as it appears to be.
Cat-shifting PSI-Operative Miles "Boomer" Walsh is the team loner for a reason—nothing and no one touches him. Not anymore. Except when a beautiful vixen shows up, claiming he murdered her brother, and tries to kill him. It's not the first time a female's tried to end him. But this time is different. Primal instinct demands his total surrender to whatever the woman has in mind… especially if that something includes a little pain mixed with pleasure.

Act of Submission
Two damaged souls who find each other and get their HEA ending. Haven is looking for who killed her brother to get revenge. She was told Boomer killed her brother but finds out that was a lie. This will pull at your heartstrings but also have you laughing. This is the third book in the PSI-OPS series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Love how Haven ended up falling for Boomer even though she originally wanted to kill him. Love that Lance protected her without knowing about his past. Love lil Duke joining in with the guys poker night and trying to protect Haven. The guys heckling Striker about being on the furry fetish site was hilarious. I loved the irony of Boomer hating vampires but being mated to one.
Review Act of Submission, by Mandy Roth is the third in the PSI-Ops part of her Immortal Ops world. This installment lets us meet Miles Boomer Walsh. As with all the other PSI Ops, he has a very disturbing past that has left him emotionally scarred. The one person he is closest to is Corbin and that is mainly because he feels that even though Corbin blames himself for all Boomers problems, Boomer sees Corbin as his savior. In enters Haven Carey, an aspiring veterinarian who has made it her, mission to kill Boomer because she believes that Boomer killed her twin brother. Even though this book all takes place in one location, Boomer’s animal sanctuary, it does have a lot of action, suspense and drama. Ms. Roth has of course included her usual comedy and lighthearted banter between not only the shifters, but the Fang Gang. My favorite character since his introduction continues to be Little Duke. In my opinion steals the scene anytime he is included. This is a great addition to the series and I will again await the next installment.
