Moving and emotional
I truly enjoyed this book and found it a complete story on its own. Only after I finished did I realize I had jumped into the middle of a series of books. The author did a beautiful job fully developing the story and relationships. I loved the nod to retro Hawaii and truly felt that the setting in and of itself became its own instrumental character to the storyline. A beautiful story of relationship, connection, emotion, and love.
Romance in a retro Hawaiian setting
I really enjoyed this book! It’s a quick read set in Hawaii in the 1960s and tells the story of Claudia, an actress, and Henry, a stuntman. It was such a fun retro read! I loved Claudia’s character because she is independent and driven and unapologetically herself. Henry is swoon-worthy, and I just loved the two of them together, even with the bumps along the road. If you love romance with some heat, pick this one up!
