June 2024. To the Lighthouse. 2 stars. Could barely get through the first part, let alone the whole novel. If this is ‘modernist’ writing from the early 20th century - stream of consciousness, perspectives constantly shifting, writing as art - then I want nothing to do with it. It’s incomprehensible and just plain boring!
