Dmitri suddenly finds himself married after mistakenly entering the room of young widow, Camille. He's begun to feel old and alone. Still in love with his dead wife, Dmitri's guilt is doubled by marrying and how it all happened.
A disgruntled uncle sees an opportunity to rid himself of his charge. Because of his manipulation and her foolishness, Camille is thrown into an emotionally charged relationship on an isolated island in Southeast Alaska. Far from civilization, she must cope with a volatile man and his spoiled daughter. Someone wants her dead. Could it be her new husband?
