The Finishing Touch: decorative features of Glasgow architecture

Many Glasgow buildings, even humble tenements and shops feature beautiful and impressive detail such as stained glass, sculpture and tile work, finishing touches showing a pride in the building. 


The first three volumes of my Finishing Touch series explore these in more detail and are listed on the back cover.


Many of these buildings are also capped with impressive domes, turrets and statues, not only public buildings, but commercial and residential premises in the city centre and beyond. In this book I’ve included a selection of my photographs, taken over the last few years, from all types of building from grand banks and office buildings  to theatres, cinemas and churches.
