Fascinating read
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, great leisure reading. I find the description of the land and people fascinating. The story line is satisfying, and I enjoy the main character’s take on her challenges.

What a wonderful read. Alexander McCall Smith is a new author to me and I am delighted to have found him. Beautifully written, compelling characters, charming story lines.
