A good introduction
"Coming into the Country" was the first McPhee book I read, and it is a good introduction to his style.

I love John McPhee and have read many of his books, including on-line books purchased through Apple that I read on my phone.
This particular title is un-
readable because as soon as you stop reading it reverts to the first page. One is constantly scrolling forward to attempt to find the page last read. It is a failure of the Apple technology.
