The fourth in the first series of Gabriel Allon novels dealing with the fallout of the Holocaust . I love these novels as they retell history as a story peopled with contemporary actors in a way that ties everything together.

His character, Gabriel, is an avenging angel. The stories are well told with twists that keep you from being able to stop reading. I've devoured four books in seven days and can't wait to start on the next one. I wish someone would make these books into movies!
