My Life

This account, detailing the author’s life in Southampton, his work experiences and his National Service, spent in Egypt, was written when he knew that he was suffering from a terminal cancer. He wanted his family to know what life had been like for him, someone with a basic working background. It is an account of the life of a decent ordinary man from 1930 to 2011, ending only a matter of weeks before he died.
