Poor Form Factor
By forcing the comic to be in two page horizontal mode even when held vertically, the word bubbles are too small to read comfortably. Sure, you can pinch and zoom, but what a lot of work! I realize horizontal mode displays splash pages in all their glory, but the few splash pages don't make up for the majority of vertically formatted pages rendered at 5" tall. It would be better to let vertical be the default so that the pages load up nice and large as is found in Comixology. Readers can always turn the iPad sideways to view a full splash page.
It's a shame because otherwise the art is excellent and $12.99 for 160 pages of color comics is a bargain.
