Enrolled in a local community college, Chloe lays the groundwork for building a business around her abilities to make people forget memories. At the same time, Miles seeks out an unconventional method of funding his sister’s business venture. But when Chloe becomes involved in an incident with another student, the fallout from it not only threatens to unravel her dreams but her and Miles’s safety.

In Texas, another survivor of the fateful tornado discovers his special abilities after an act of violence. He then embarks on a perilous journey of redemption, seeking out the one person he thinks can help.
