The Raven Illustrated

Originally published in January 1845, "The Raven" catapulted Poe to national fame (though not riches) and it remains one of the most iconic American poems ever written. This edition pairs each verse with new art from the narrator's point of view. The new plates follow the eponymous bird to the narrator's home and his eventual slide into madness, torment and despair.
