Earthen Elements

Cheryl Chase is a 10-year-old girl dealing with the fact that her best and only friend moved away and her brother has disappeared. One day, she finds a mysterious garnet necklace in her backpack, and from there, a portal to a whole new world filled with magic. She learns that she and one other have been entrusted with protecting this magical world from an evil force that threatens all life on Majia. But while completing this task, Cheryl also must deal with middle school and the problems that are within it.
