A Christmas Carol

"A Christmas Carol" is a novella by Charles Dickens, first published in 1843. The story tells of the transformation of the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley, as well as the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. Through these visits, Scrooge is shown the error of his ways and learns to become a kinder, more generous person. The story is a classic tale of redemption and the true meaning of Christmas.
