The Book of Enoch

"The Book of Enoch" is a pseudepigraphical work attributed to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah, who is mentioned in the Book of Genesis. It is an ancient Jewish religious work, traditionally ascribed to Enoch himself, though modern scholars estimate the sections were written in the period from the second century B.C.E. to the first century C.E.
