Nope.
I recognize the groundbreaking quality of this book within the historical context of its original publication. Somehow I managed to miss it in its heyday - I was probably a little too young. But now, at age 61, I find myself unable to complete the slog. She’s insufferable. Life’s too short.
Well-written Self-Loathing
Well-written self-loathing. A narcissist of every sort. You can see yourself in her predicaments and be disgusted by her self-obsession at the same time. Annoying and thought-provoking. Confusing but presumably honest.
