Publisher Description
An unforgettable summer at Buttercup Lake where healing and hope fill the days and a little book club mends broken hearts in unexpected ways.
Grace Henry thought she knew her husband, but when her life falls down around her, she knows she must stay strong and find out what secrets he left behind.
Grace never thought she’d be a single mom at thirty-five, left to raise a teenage daughter who resents her and a job that asks far too much of her. But as summer quickly approaches, the one place that always soothed her soul growing up is calling her home again. The moment she and her daughter arrive at Buttercup Lake, her frantic world stops shaking them apart and a glimmer of hope resurfaces that a new normal can exist.
When Jackson Locke left Buttercup Lake at eighteen, he vowed he’d never return. After all, the one and only woman he’d loved broke his heart and ran off with his best friend and fellow camp counselor, Tim Henry.
But when his uncle falls ill, he’s the only family member who can look after him. So, he does what any decent human would do and puts his disgust for the simple town of Buttercup Lake aside.
Jackson just never expects to discover the one woman who shattered his idea of love also happens to be wandering the streets of Buttercup Lake. It takes everything he has to look Grace in the eyes and see the woman she's become, not the girl he'd left behind.

Great Read
After the loss of her husband, Grace Henry and her daughter move to Buttercup Lake to be with her grandmother for the summer. Jackson Locke is in Buttercup Lake caring for his ill uncle. The two have a history when they were teens, but with the help of family and a small town, the two are able to come to terms with their last summer together. A realistic story and a very enjoyable read.

Loved the book. Nice romance story, no bad language. Loved the characters.
Dash of Love
Well written. Thoroughly enjoyed the characters in the romance scheming book club as they came up with ways to reconnect high school lovers after years of a misunderstanding that kept them apart. Totally recommend!
