Heartstopper forever!!
Watching Heartstopper has meant so much to me. As a gay man in my late 40s, the series has been both beautiful and bittersweet. It makes me think about the life I wish I could have had growing up. I never got to experience a young, open, accepting love story like Nick and Charlie’s, and that sadness is something I carry with me.
At the same time, seeing them fall in love, support each other, and experience the joy of being young and gay has been incredibly healing. It gives me hope, even if it’s a kind of hope I didn’t have when I was their age. I’m so grateful that today’s younger LGBTQ+ generation has stories like this to see themselves in.
I love this show, I love these characters, and I loved the movie. Thank you to everyone who brought Heartstopper to life and gave us such an honest, heartfelt story.
