The girls face new challenges, especially with the spoiled Belinda and sly Daphne causing trouble. A dramatic theft leads to suspicion and tension, but Darrell and her friends uncover the truth. Lessons about honesty and integrity dominate the term.

3. Third Year at Malory Towers
Now in the Third Form, the girls meet new students such as Zerelda, an American with Hollywood dreams, and Bill, a horse-mad girl. Lively adventures, misunderstandings, and competitions fill the term. Darrell matures further, learning to balance fun with responsibility.
