During World War II, siblings Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are evacuated from London to a country house. Lucy discovers a wardrobe that is a doorway to Narnia, a magical land under the tyranny of the White Witch, who has made it “always winter but never Christmas.” As the children explore, Edmund falls under the Witch’s spell, betraying his siblings. They meet Aslan, a great lion and true king of Narnia, who sacrifices himself to save Edmund but rises again, breaking the Witch’s power. With Aslan’s help, the children lead Narnia’s creatures into battle, overthrowing the Witch and restoring peace. Crowned as kings and queens, they rule Narnia for years before returning through the wardrobe to find only moments have passed in England. The story blends Christian symbolism, myth, and adventure to explore themes of courage, redemption, and the triumph of good over evil.
