Nobody Beats Dave: The Trouble with Leo

Dave is good at almost everything. Maths. Football. Talking his way out of trouble. And he is not shy about admitting it.

Then Leo arrives at Bloomfield Academy.

Leo is clever. Leo is confident. Worst of all, Leo might be better than Dave. Suddenly every lesson, game and conversation feels like a competition Dave cannot afford to lose.

Nobody Beats Dave: The Trouble with Leo is a funny, honest school story about rivalry, friendship and what happens when being the best becomes too important. Told in Dave’s lively nine-year-old voice, it is perfect for readers aged 9–12 who enjoy relatable characters, family chaos and everyday problems that feel enormous when you are growing up.
