Tomorrow It's You

Popular British school principal Rebecca Wilson dies alone in her Dubai apartment during COVID quarantine. The official cause is cardiac arrest. But forensic doctor Hassan Al Mansoori finds aconite—a deadly poison—in her blood. Rebecca was murdered.
As Officer Al Shamsi takes charge of the investigation, Hassan realizes that his close family friend, artist Maria Sharif, may be connected to Rebecca’s death.
Sixteen years earlier, Maria and Rebecca were part of a close group of neighbors living in a residential compound in Dubai. When they discover that one of their neighbors is involved in the illegal trade of exotic animals, they come up with a reckless plan to expose him. The night ends in a disaster: the man is killed by his own cheetah, his fiancée disappears without a trace, and everyone involved swears never to reveal the truth.
But now, the former neighbors are receiving anonymous messages.
Tick tock … Tick tock … Tomorrow it’s you.
When one of them is critically injured in a car accident, Maria can no longer dismiss the messages as empty threats. Someone knows the truth about that night—and wants them all to pay for it.
During the investigation, Al Shamsi discovers that an important piece of evidence has vanished. Everyone knew Rebecca kept a diary, but it is nowhere to be found.
Did Rebecca’s killer take it?
Al Shamsi and Hassan work together to protect Maria and to identify the person behind the attacks. Finding the diary could reveal who wanted Rebecca dead. But as more women receive the anonymous messages and another former neighbor is attacked, one question grows ever more urgent:
Who will receive the next message?
