Strigoi

High in the mist-shrouded Carpathian Mountains, where sunlight is death and loyalty is law, the aventurieri have lived for millennia hidden from human eyes. To mortals, they are myths, legends told to frighten children. To each other, they are proud and ancient people bound by blood, dark power, and the brutal rule of their prince.

Marek Strigoi was never meant to inherit his clan's legacy, but his father's murder changes that in an instant. Marked by mismatched eyes, he becomes ghidaj of Casa Strigoi, the Shadow clan. When he and his brothers demand vengeance against their father's killer, the prince denies their claim and casts them out of their homeland.

Thrust into the unknown world of 19th century Europe, they must pretend to be human while hunting their father's killer. It is a world of decadence, desire, and danger. Among the glittering salons of Vienna and Paris, he finds love, even as he discovers a secret about himself, one that could challenge not only his place in his clan but among all aventurieri. He must learn who can be trusted, what love can survive, and how far vengeance can carry a soul before it becomes damnation.

Dark, sensual, and sweeping in scope, Strigoi is a gothic tale of forbidden bloodlines, political intrigue, and the dangerous cost of becoming what others have always feared. Fans of Interview with the Vampire and the taut sexuality of Carmilla will fall in love with Strigoi.
