Tugi the Elf and the 12 Golden Bells: The Broken Bridge

The bridge is broken, the way forward is blocked, and the solution will not come all at once.

In The Broken Bridge, Tugi discovers the meaning of Bell 7 — Perseverance. He learns that difficult problems can take time, patience, and more than one try — and that not giving up can be just as important as knowing the answer right away.

With each small effort, Tugi moves closer to a solution, and the seventh golden bell begins to shine. The story helps preschool and early elementary children understand persistence in an encouraging, age-appropriate way.

Set in a magical snowy landscape, Bell 7 is a warm family read-aloud for talking about frustration, trying again, asking for help, and feeling proud of steady effort. Bell 7 is part of Tugi’s twelve-story Advent journey and is also included in Tugi the Elf and the 12 Golden Bells — The Complete Advent Collection.
