Tugi the Elf and the 12 Golden Bells: The Dark Tunnel

The tunnel ahead is dark, and Tugi is not sure he wants to go inside.

In The Dark Tunnel, Tugi discovers the meaning of Bell 10 — Courage. He learns that being brave does not mean that fear disappears. Courage can be taking one careful step forward even while your heart is still beating fast.

As Tugi finds the courage to continue, the tenth golden bell begins to shine. The story offers preschool and early elementary children a reassuring way to understand fear, bravery, and confidence without suggesting that they must never feel afraid.

With a snowy adventure, glowing lanterns, and a gentle emotional message, Bell 10 is an engaging Christmas read-aloud for families who want to talk about facing worries and finding courage one step at a time. Bell 10 is part of Tugi’s twelve-story Advent journey and is also included in Tugi the Elf and the 12 Golden Bells — The Complete Advent Collection.
