Just as I thought, I had read all of the Beverly Jenkins novels, I discovered this novella that is thoroughly enjoyable, and in keeping with the theme of strong black women and tightknit communities. I love Elizabeth and Jordan and the fact that the story starts off and goes right to the point. Love is forever.
