Three nice things about the book
I am only a newcomer to enjoying the art of Monet, so I was interested in getting a little more perspective. This book is great for a beginner like myself. Three things: 1) It has about 50 pages or so that discuss about a dozen specific paintings at various times in Monet's life, 2) It has several hundred photos of Monet paintings that are small but you can "PINCH" to enlarge and look good. and 3) there is a book within the book titled "The French Impressionists" which is selling elsewhere all by itself for $5 TO $10.00. So overall it's worth (in my opinion) the $2.99. However, if you want to only see photos of the paintings I would recommend an app (not a book). I purchased several and there is one for .99 that was excellent titled "Monet HD".
