Murder is no laughing matter...
I read this as a paperback book, and it couldn’t be more highly recommended by me! This Point thriller (Point Horror) is one of the first books I read by this author, and it remains one of my favorites! It’s a terrifying tale of what happens after Belinda and her friends cause a horrible accident while driving home from a party on April Fool’s Day—or, more specifically, on the night of April 1st. Two weeks later, Belinda finds herself being stalked by someone who seems to know her guilty secret. They keep coming up with ghastly, creative ways to threaten her. To most, these threats might seem like harmless pranks being committed by someone with a sick, morbid sense of humor—but Belinda knows better. The “pranks” started happening just after she was hired to tutor Adam, a disfigured and crippled teenager. She’s already found that his injuries and scars are the result of a car crash that happened two weeks ago. Could the stalker really be after revenge—or is there something more sinister going on? Filled with inventive twists and turns that keep you guessing even as they keep the scares coming, April Fools is a must-read for this author’s fans!
